EDITO


Les crises qui se succèdent actuellement, et tout particulièrement la guerre survenue aux portes de l’Europe depuis le mois de février dernier, ont des conséquences nouvelles et majeures sur les PME. Amenées de par leur statut et leur taille à opérer des changements rapides en fonction du contexte, celles-ci sont placées devant un fort enjeu stratégique. Dans ces moments d’incertitude, il ne faut surtout pas opérer un repli sur soi. Au contraire, il convient de se mettre aux aguets, d’intégrer le fait que la situation risque de durer, de réfléchir de manière active et collective aux moyens d’anticiper et de tirer le meilleur parti de ce qui est en train de se nouer. En l’espèce, la veille stratégique constitue un exercice intéressant… et surtout nécessaire.

La veille collaborative

La veille collaborative permet de surveiller plus efficacement l’information. L’option de « collaboration » permet à plusieurs experts de travailler sur une seule plateforme. Structurer et diffuser le contenu de veille est peut-être la mission de quelques personnes, mais la proposition de contenu est l’affaire de tous. Les systèmes de collecte et de diffusion de contenu se doivent donc d’être collaboratifs pour intégrer la connaissance du plus grand nombre. Pour les détenteurs de KB Suite, vous pourrez désormais créer des groupes collaboratifs afin de réunir vos utilisateurs dans des groupes thématiques où ils pourront échanger dans un forum. Il sera également possible d’activer un module de chat entre les utilisateurs et leur permettre de contacter les veilleurs en un clic, suggérer des articles, remonter des informations terrain et aussi de participer à la veille. L’objectif final étant de maximiser la pertinence des informations recueillies sur le web.

Externalisation de la veille : une solution avantageuse 

Alors que depuis de nombreuses années l’intelligence économique cherche à se faire une place dans les entreprises, il n’existe pas aujourd’hui d’étude fiable sur le nombre d’organisations dotées d’un système de veille en interne. Pourtant nous savons qu’un accès à l’information permet d’anticiper les actions stratégiques et de ne plus simplement réagir aux soubresauts du marché.

Par manque de temps, de ressources humaines et financières ou parfois par manque de connaissances, les entreprises n’initient pas la veille en interne. L’équation à résoudre ne semble pas aisée : équilibrer le bénéfice de maîtriser une information stratégique avec la conservation de la maîtrise des coûts. Il existe pourtant une manière simple de mettre en mouvement ce processus : externaliser sa veille.

Tout d’abord le gain de temps

Certes, à l’origine de votre projet, il faudra réaliser le cadrage avec les équipes de veille choisies ce qui veut dire une préparation rigoureuse du projet en amont. Mais les experts ne perdront pas de temps à aller chercher les informations et à maîtriser des outils qu’ils pratiquent au quotidien pour former leurs utilisateurs. Vous vous focalisez sur les informations reçues et les actions à mener sans vous noyer dans des tonnes d’informations venues de multiples canaux.

Maîtrise des coûts

Les organisations n’ont pas toujours les capacités financières pour supporter une cellule de veille à plein temps. Hormis le personnel, il faut prévoir les outils, voir les abonnements dans certains cas. Externaliser la veille va vous permettre de gérer finement votre budget. Vous pouvez par exemple commencer par des missions ponctuelles sur la surveillance de votre marché ou de certains de vos concurrents et ensuite étendre les missions afin de disposer d’une information stratégique tout en gardant une entière flexibilité sur vos dépenses.

Le conseil des professionnels

Les équipes de veilleurs professionnels savent comment et où aller chercher de l’information pertinente pour votre organisation. Ils ont un regard et une expertise différente de la vôtre. Celle-ci ne se limite pas à une gamme de produits, une liste de concurrents, une vision d’un marché mais s’enrichie chaque jour de l’apport que chaque client, chaque domaine, chaque marché tout en gardant un œil précis sur votre demande et votre cahier des charges. Ainsi, ils peuvent vous proposer de modifier ce plan de veille si sa pertinence venait à se modifier de façon trop importante.

Un obstacle : la confidentialité des informations

Les experts doivent assurer l’entière confidentialité des données et ne rien mutualiser dans les outils qu’ils utilisent. Il s’agit d’un sujet sensible et la signature d’un accord de confidentialité est souvent un bon moyen de cadrer les choses.

Conclusion

Externaliser sa veille n’est donc pas une solution de secours mais une façon de maîtriser ses coûts tout en captant l’information pertinente pour agir !
