Emmanuel BROIS, 42 ans travaille chez KB Crawl depuis 2006 où il a commencé en tant que développeur puis a accédé au poste de responsables du support.

Quel est votre parcours scolaire ?

Après mon Bac, j’ai été diplômé d’un DUT en Génie Électrique et Informatique Industrielle puis j’ai poursuivi mes études à Toulouse pour devenir Technicien Supérieur en Radiofréquence, ma première passion.

Quelle est a été votre expérience avant KB Crawl et comment avez-vous connu la veille chez KB Crawl ?

Ma première expérience était dans la radiocommunication professionnelle, notamment pour les réseaux pompiers.

Puis j’ai souhaité m’orienter vers les métiers du développement informatique, plus diversifiants et prometteurs. Dans la vallée du Rhône et la Côte d’Azur, je travaillais comme développeur sur automates industriels et applications windows.

Arrivé en région parisienne, KB Crawl m’a recruté en tant que développeur pour prendre le relais de l’équipe sur la version 3 du Crawler. 

J’ai découvert à ce moment-là le monde de la veille, et commencé à être en relation directe avec les utilisateurs de nos outils.

Pourquoi KB Crawl ?

Le fait de participer à une nouvelle aventure prometteuse en utilisant l’outil Internet était pour moi une évidence en 2006, lorsqu’on m’a proposé ce poste.

La recherche automatisée sur Internet n’était qu’à ses débuts, et comme dans toutes mes précédentes expériences professionnelles, c’était la passion de la nouveauté et du service qui était moteur pour moi.

Quelles sont vos fonctions en tant que Responsable du Support ?

Avec mes collègues au support technique, je suis en contact avec les utilisateurs de nos différents outils et notamment pour les sujets les plus techniques. Le sens du service est très valorisant à ce poste.

Je participe également à la maintenance de nos deux datacenters, avec des déplacements réguliers sur site, afin d’assurer à nos clients un accès continue et sécurisé aux outils qu’ils utilisent au quotidien.

Quelles sont les missions qui vous plaisent le plus dans le poste de Responsable du Support ?

Le fait d’apporter des solutions techniques à nos clients, et de participer à l’évolution de nos solutions est passionnant à ce poste.

Pouvez-vous décrire une journée « type Â» d’un Responsable du Support ?

Chaque jour étant différent, il n’y a pas de journée type. Il peut y avoir des journées plutôt calmes, donnant le temps de rédiger de la documentation technique interne et d’autres journées où les urgences s’enchainent au support technique avec le traitement du problème et la communication avec les clients.

Quels sont les qualités d’un Responsable du Support chez KB Crawl ?

Le sens de l’écoute et l’initiative sont très importants à ce poste. Il faut également être polyvalent et ne pas avoir peur de passer d’un sujet à un autre rapidement.
