KB Exchange is a data import and export module using the XML format, particularly compatbile with KB Portal.

KB Exchange allows KB Crawl to:

• Exchange data with other tools such as document management software packages, or to export data to your information system, in standard Web format: XML (eXtended Markup Language)
• Users are therefore able to combine KB Crawl with other specialized tools (text mining, semantic analysis or cartography) and/or with another KB Crawl database.
• Exchange data between two databases using KB Exchange.

KB Exchange comes as 2 programmes:

• KBC2XML, for exporting alerts in XML format
• KB Exchange, for exchanging data.
