5. When I open KB Crawl, I get the error message "Unavailable database". Why? And what should I do?

Every time it starts, KB Crawl needs to connect to its database in a file with a GDB extension. Connection is impossible in the following cases:

• The Firebird service has not started (applicable only if this is a client-server installation) => Contact your network administrator and/or KB Crawl support (see contact details at the top of the page).

• The path to this database has not been specified or is wrong => Specify the full path for the GDB file by selecting it in the dialogue box.
The default path at installation time is:
